Dr. Johnson

Dr. Johnson graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his cardiology training at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. He currently practices at Stanford University Medical Center and serves as Chief Medical Officer and Editor-In-Chief for WorldDoc, Inc. His area of expertise is in cardiovascular disease prevention. He founded and directed the first lipid (cholesterol) clinic in the Las Vegas area, and for several years he worked with Dr. John Kane, the internationally known cholesterol expert at University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Johnson coauthored the landmark study published in the New England Journal of Medicine on the role of cholesterol lowering medication in heart transplant recipients and served as editor to the International Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
